Most armor on the market uses a glass on the outside with a poly inside formula for ballistic glass, this is also the formula for which Return Fire is modeled. It was descovered that this design allowed you to shoot out but is very dangerous to the occupants inside the cabin of a vehicle. The poly surface is ridgid and has a ricochet affect on the rounds and the glass starts to come apart in the cab spreading dangerous glass, poly and rounds inside. Manufactures, do not want the liabilty, none of them claim nor discuss it.
The Return Fire concept is nothing new just recently perfected by ISBI. For the first time, The Colombian Goverment, FISCAL and Policia National uses Return fire and feels safe transporting dignitaries and using the return fire feature to respond to a threat. ISBI has perfected the design into a safe functional concept.

Flexable Poly designed to absorb the rounds. The poly is thin and allows for easy penetration under most ballistic circumstances. The Poly backs up to a air chamber and allows for flex and gives a chamber to capture the round if it can not penetrate the glass. ISBI´s design prevents a ricochet and captures a ricochet of the glass.
When the rounds pass it creates spall and ISBI provides an air chamber to catch the spall and you will notice the glass flipped upside down and the collection of particles of glass and poly that was captured by the few rounds. The spall that is in the red circle is trapped in the air chamber and not in the cabin.
Return fire was perfected for the USA police market, we at ISBI have created solution armor designed for the police market. An officer can not shoot around armor and expose himself to fire. Return fire allows the officer to do his job under the protection of armor, without this feature Armour is useless.
